  the Librería Donceles project (Spanish-language bookstore and Social Pra
 ctice Art Project\, currently on view at the Mitchell Art Museum).\n\nPabl
 o Helguera\, founding artist and former head of Arts Education at the MOMA
 \, will be joined by the "Madrinas" of the Librería Donceles\, Brooklyn-b
 ased artist\, Gabriela Galván and Arts Administrator for the Museum of Co
 ntemporary Art\, Chicago\, Mayra Cecilia Palafox.\n\nOver the course of an
  hour\, they will reminisce on their friendship that spurred the project o
 n\, the sociological/philosophical underpinnings of this 10-year old proje
 ct\, and the sweetly funny stories that have come up as it has traveled fr
 om place to place (Paris\, Anchorage\, New York\, Santa Cruz\, Los Angeles
 \, to name a few). \n\nThis event will be free and open to the public!\n\n
