 s in the elegant and brutal play Euripides’ Bacchae\, whereby the brand-new
  Olympian god\, Dionysus\, arrives in the city of Thebes. With the city in 
 thrall to Dionysus and his power to intoxicate\, enchant\, and destroy\, wh
 at is Thebes’ young ruler\, Pentheus\, supposed to do? As the drama unfolds
 \, driven by the violent\, erotic power of Dionysus\, we bear witness as Pe
 ntheus stumbles in a daze toward the final horror that the god has arranged
  for the city. Bacchae delivers tragic catharsis at its finest\, and we hop
 e you’ll experience it with us at the Homecoming 2024 seminar.
