On October 24, from 5:30–7 p.m., we invite you to participate in a hands-on art workshop, taught by exhibiting artists Lenka Clayton and Phillip Andrew Lewis.

GROUP EXERCISE CLASS / 30 exercises x 3 minutes  = 1 workshop

This workshop, led by collaborative artist duo Phillip Andrew Lewis and Lenka Clayton, will be a fast-paced, fun series of creative challenges that participants will be invited to engage in. Every three minutes, a new experiment will emerge. These are intended to invite individuals and the group to playfully leap into creative experiences without delay. We will collectively sharpen our instincts, embrace improvisation, consider failure a success, and open new possibilities for what can be art. Curiosity is the only requirement.

Suitable for anyone 12 and over.

About the Artists

Clayton and Lewis, who work both collaboratively and individually, are displaying three artworks in /m's show "Lost at Sea", including one newly commissioned by /m. Based in Pittsburgh, where they have built a full-size, working lighthouse inside of an abandoned rowhouse, their art merges the philosophical, the poetic, and the absurd.
