/m (Elizabeth Myers Mitchell Art Museum) at St. John's College in Annapolis invites you to a BYOB (bring your own basket) community picnic for artists on Sunday, July 13, from 11 a.m.–3 p.m.

Artists working in all disciplines—including actors, musicians, and writers—living in Anne Arundel County are encouraged to attend. 

There will be live music by jazz guitarist Ahmed Warshanna, CAISO Steeldrum Band, and singer-songwriter Burnsie.

Poetry readings by former Maryland Poet Laureate Grace Cavalieri, Youth Poet Laureate Tara Prakesh, and current Annapolis Poet Laureate Jefferson Holland will also be featured.

Original games by musician Jimi Haha and Ilamae Davies, artist Glory Paredes, and others will be played!

The painter r aster syrell, whose work is the subject of our current exhibition, “r aster syrell: Approaching the Garden,” will also be in attendance. 

Free parking will be available on campus. /m asks that artists who are planning to attend RSVP to mitchellartmuseum@sjc.edu.

El pintor r aster syrell, cuya obra es el tema de nuestra exposición actual, "r aster syrell: Acercándose al Jardín," también estará presente.
