Be boulder. Dream bigger. Join the OP on an overnight pilgrimage to Texas where we'll crash (pad) at Hueco State Park. From December 3rd to December 4th, we'll be crushing rocks and munching innovative snack mixes.

Hueco is composed of several gorgeous mounds of igneous rock exposed from beneath a layer of limestone. The climbers are salivating, and you should be, too. Bear in mind: There are 673 total climbs. Rainwater pools collect in hollows (huecos) in the stone, so the possibility for puddle-jumping remains for anyone who wants to dip their post-climb toes.

The OP would never leave you (cliff) hanging - we've got the gear and the noshes on lock. All you need to do is bring your blisterable hands, your enthusiasm, and your willingness to wear sunscreen.

Hip, hip, BELAY! Sign-ups open at 12:15pm on Monday, 11/28 at the SAC.

Direct questions and quibbles to our Climb Minister at mthurber@sjc.edu (x6148)
