Keith Julian earned a BA degree in Regional Economics and Natural Sciences from Harvard University. He completed his master’s and doctoral work in Earth and Environmental Science at the University of California (Los Angeles) writing his dissertation on “The Environmental Economics of Geothermal Energy Systems.” He taught at UCLA, the University of Missouri, and the University of California (Santa Barbara’s Graduate School of Environmental Science), specializing in natural resource development and environmental protection of water and energy resources.
Among other things, Keith has published scientific reports and technical papers, worked as an environmental and earth science consultant, and was the Science Department Chairman and a faculty member at Albuquerque Academy. He will share his personal experience and observations regarding a career in the Earth/Environmental Sciences, let it be in the public service, non-profit/NGO, international, private-sector, academic research, or teaching.
