Do you desire a picturesque, artisitcally significant hike? Join the OP on a day trek up Pedernal, a gorgeous flint mesa near Abiquiu Lake. We'll meet the morning of Sunday, May 13th and give you the perfect excuse to delay the seminar reading you put off all weekend. Breakfast, lunch, and transportation are provided.  

Cerro Pedernal was beloved by Georgia O'Keefe, and the artist's ashes were scattered along the summit. Who knows? If the wind blows just right, you might get to inhale a little bit of Georgia herself. Tag along as we revel in the beauty of northern New Mexico and exercise our legs in the process.
