  National Book Critics Circle Award and recipient of the Bobbitt Prize from
  the Library of Congress\, he’s also been awarded a Guggenheim\, two NEA Fe
 llowships\, nine Pushcart Prizes\, and his poems have been selected for inc
 lusion in nine volumes of Best American Poetry.\n\nAbout the Poets in the C
 onversation Room Series\n\nIn partnership with Annapolis Home Magazine\, St
 . John’s College presents a series called Poets in the Conversation Room ho
 sted by renowned poet\, author\, playwright\, and tenth Maryland Poet Laure
 ate Grace Cavalieri.\n\n“Annapolis needs poetry\,” says Kymberly Taylor\, p
 oet and Editor-In-Chief of Annapolis Home Magazine. “It needs this incredib
 le art form that helps us feel things beyond what we hear and read online\,
  on television\, and in the news.”\n\nThe poetry series is free and open to
  the public. Seating is available on a first-come\, first-served basis. Wor
 ks by the featured poets will be on display at the St. John’s College Green
 field Library and available to purchase at the St. John’s College Bookstore
 .\n\n“I think it’s going to create a tremendous audience because it’s also 
 entertaining\,” says Cavalieri. “Poetry speaks to how we feel and how it is
  to be alive in this world—and who does not want to hear that?”\n\n*Please
