Annapolis Tutor David Townsend will present his lecture, The Spirit of America: Our Apophatic Community of Love.

He offers this description: 250 years ago, we brought forth a new nation, conceived on ideas ever new, yet ancient as human faith and hope in a loving community. We are on a mission, called to practice the Spirt of America. Rough-hewn as I am, I will explore our errand. What is the relationship of this community to our Declaration of July 4, 1776?
