In honor of Martin Luther King Day, on Monday, January 20th, we will be hosting a discussion of King's "Letter from a Birmingham Jail", his impassioned defense of direct action and civil disobedience. The letter was written in response to an open letter by eight clergymen published in The Birmingham News, criticizing the protests.
