Santa Fe County’s Open Space, Trails and Parks is offering a summer internship through the St. John’s Professional Pathways program. Meet Ms. Masters in the dining hall to learn more about the internship opportunity. Santa Fe County’s Open Space, Trails and Parks (OSTP) Program sustainably manages and conserves a vibrant network of cultural, historical, recreational and natural community resources that inspire a deep sense of regional identity and stewardship among current and future generations, supporting sustainable and resilient ecosystems with landscape-wide benefits for human, plant, and wildlife communities.
Availabe projects: Research and development of interpretive content for use in new exhibits, brochures, online media, programs, etc.; public interpretive programming, if interested
• Regular patrols of open space properties and trails
• Surveying and mapping existing interpretive and regulatory signage
on Santa Fe County Open Space and Trails properties, so as to
recommend potential signage and exhibit removal, replacement, and
improvement needs
• Habitat rehabilitation, trail management, and natural resource project
monitoring
