Has there been something missing in your life?  Does Ptolemy's Almagest haunt your dreams? Are you just dying to observe the heavens? Well, we have good news! 

The astronomy assistants are excited to announce that the observatory will be open every Monday (yes, I repeat, every Monday) after seminar from 9:30-11 p.m. The observatory is located on the third floor of Mellon—take the stairs by the pendulum pit and just keep going up.

Don't stand aimlessly in the Mellon lobby like a square, come have your post-seminar discussions in the observatory, where you can check out planets with our telescopes!
