The Student Activities Center (typically called "The SAC") is a large multi-use building near the entrance of campus. It contains a gymnasium, weight room, cardio area, basketball courts, squash and racquetball courts, and more. It also houses the Outdoor Program's equipment facility, lending room, and bike repair shop. Following the SAC's construction in 2000, the Santa Fe campus' unofficial motto changed from "Great Books, No Gym" to "Great Books, Great Gym". While primarily used for exercise and athletic pursuits, the SAC can also be transformed into a large event space.
